Funnel conversion indicates how many visitors successfully complete your ordering or registration process. This conversion is important because it is indicative of the effectiveness your website’s check-out section. A low conversion means that you are losing many potential customers and much potential turnover.
Conversions usually take place in several steps. First, the visitors loads items into their shopping carts or commence the registration process. Then there are usually a number of steps to complete the registration, often followed by a “thank you for your…” page. With each step, you will lose a number of visitors, and it is our job to minimize that number.
